Allah reminds believers how armies came from above and below, eyes shifted and hearts reached throats, and He sent a wind and unseen armies. Hypocrites doubted, made excuses to flee, and broke their promise not to turn back.
The Prophet ﷺ is an excellent example. Believers seeing the armies grow in faith, and some fulfil their vows. Allah repels the disbelievers and brings down their People of the Scripture supporters from their fortresses.
