Opening the passage
Teaches the Prophet ﷺ to ask not to be placed among the wrongdoers, to respond to evil with what is best, and to seek refuge in Allah from the whispers and presence of devils.
Say, [O Muḥammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people." 94 And indeed, We are Able to show you what We have promised them. 95 Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98

It was narrated that 'Uqbah bin 'Amir Al-Juhani said:"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said to me: 'Say.' I said: 'What should I say?' He said: 'Say: He is Allah (the) One,' 'Say: I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of the daybreak,' 'Say: I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of mankind.' The Messenger of Allah [SAW] recited them, then he said: 'The people have never recited anything like them, or the people have never sought refuge (with Allah) by means of anything like them
