Punishments for Zina and False Accusation
Sets the punishment of lashes for unlawful sexual relations and for accusing chaste women without four witnesses. A husband who accuses his wife without witnesses swears five oaths, and she may swear five in reply.

Disbelievers turn away from every sign and mock the call to spend on others. They ask when the promise will come; one blast will seize them, the Horn will be blown, and all will rise.
Paradise, Hellfire and Witnessing Limbs
Describes the joy of Paradise with spouses, fruit and peace. The criminals are reminded they were told not to worship Satan, are sent to Hell, and their hands and feet testify against them.
Dawud Judges Two Disputants
The Prophet ﷺ is told to be patient and remember Dawud, with whom mountains and birds praised Allah. Two adversaries arguing over ewes test his judgment; he seeks forgiveness and is told to judge with truth, not desire.

The Day of Meeting
Allah sends revelation to warn of the Day of Meeting, when nothing is hidden and every soul is repaid with no injustice. Earlier, stronger nations rejected their messengers and were seized.
Worldly Life Is Brief, the Hereafter Lasts
The believing man tells his people this life is brief enjoyment and the Hereafter lasting, and that he calls them to salvation while they call him to the Fire. Allah protects him, and Firawn's people face the Fire.
Hearing, Eyes and Skins Testify
On that Day the enemies of Allah find their hearing, eyes and skins testifying against them. Disbelievers who told people not to listen to the Qur'an will face the Fire and ask to trample those who misled them.
A Mighty Book Beyond Falsehood
Falsehood cannot approach the Qur'an, which is guidance and healing for believers. The Prophet ﷺ is told only what earlier messengers were told, Musa's Scripture was also disputed, and each person's deeds are for or against themselves.
One Religion From Nuh to Muhammad
Explains that the same religion was given to Nuh, Ibrahim, Musa, Isa and the Prophet ﷺ: to establish it without splitting. People divided out of jealousy, and the Prophet ﷺ is told to call to it and be just.

Says evildoers and believers are not equal in life or death. Warns about the one who takes his desires as his god, and answers those who say only time destroys them, since Allah gives life and death.
Every Nation Kneeling Before Its Record
Describes every nation kneeling and called to its record of deeds. Believers enter Allah's mercy, while those who mocked His verses and were fooled by worldly life are left in the Fire. Ends with praise of Allah.
Rules for Meeting the Enemy in Battle
Contrasts believers, whose misdeeds are removed, with disbelievers, whose deeds are wasted. Gives rules for fighting and for captives, freed by favor or ransom, and promises Allah's support to those who support Him.
Checking News and Making Peace
Tells believers to verify news brought by a sinful person before acting on it. If two groups of believers fight, they must be reconciled justly, because the believers are brothers.
No Mocking, Spying or Backbiting
Forbids mocking others, insulting nicknames, suspicion, spying and backbiting, comparing backbiting to eating a dead brother's flesh. Says people were made into nations and tribes to know each other, and the noblest is the most righteous.

Created in the Best Form
Swears by the fig, olive, Mount Sinai, and the secure city that man was created in the best form, then lowered, except believers who do good. Allah is the most just of judges.
An Atom's Weight of Good or Evil
Describes the final earthquake when the earth throws out its burdens and reports its news. People will be shown their deeds, and whoever does an atom's weight of good or evil will see it.
The Striking Calamity and the Scales
Describes the Striking Calamity when people are like scattered moths and mountains like fluffed wool. Whoever's scales are heavy has a pleasant life, and whoever's are light falls into a blazing Fire.
